Employment Law Friend believe that top quality employment law advice should be as accessible as possible. We keep our fees low by conducting meetings online and not having to charge solicitor's price tags for employment law services which don't require regulation by the solicitors regulation authority.

We thought we could go further though, so we have two discount policies for those who need it most.

Up to 50% off employment law advice with Employment Law Friend Low income workers - If you are a low income worker, we can offer up to 50% discount on your initial case review, so you can find out if your claim is worth pursuing, at our lowest possible cost, when the pennies count the most. Low income includes annual gross salary of less than £21,000 contact us to find out more.
10% off employment law advice with Employment Law Friend Key-workers - If you work for the NHS, in care or in the emergency services, we'd like to say thank you by offering you a 10% discount (not to be used in conjunction with any other discount such as the Low Income Workers). Contact us for a 10% discount code.

Our legal advisors are fully trained to provide you the best employment law advice and because these services aren't regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority we can keep our costs as affordable as possible.

We also conduct our meetings online. This keeps everyone safe during the pandemic, saves our clients from travel costs, inconvenience and time. It also helps us to keep our costs and environmental emissions low.
We hold our employment law advice meetings online, via zoom or skype. You will need a steady internet connection and adequate audio, If you don't have a webcam, that's fine*.

When you book your meeting, we'll send you all the information you need, as well as a video guide for using zoom, in case you're new to it. Shortly before your meeting is due to begin, you'll receive an email with a unique link. Just click the link and follow the instructions.

You'll get the most out of your meeting if you have provided us with any documents or details which are important to your case. You can do this in the booking form or you can email us at help@employmentlawfriend.co.uk up to one working day before your meeting.

*If you choose to be referred to our panel of regulated employment law solicitors, you will need to use video calling for certain regulated services.
Our fixed fee services are based on the timings required for a typical claim. If you have an especially complex case to discuss, if you are late to your meeting, or provide your documents last minute, or, you are otherwise poorly prepared, you may need more time.

We allow for some flexibility; you can get more time with the advisor on a pay-as-you-go basis in increments of 30 or 60 minutes (subject to availability).
Yes, we can attend your hearing as support. If you would like legal counsel, or the representation of an employment barrister at your hearing, we have a trusted panel of experts that we can refer you to for no fee.


Please be aware that regulated solicitors and barristers must charge higher fees than our employment law advice.
